With the increasing switch from gas powered engines to electric motors, more and more people are requesting Electric Vehicle Chargers. The typical EV Charger is 240-volts 50 amps, but this can vary depending on the charging station you purchase. The process begins with inspecting your panel to determine if there is enough space to add a charging port breaker. If space permits, then a 2-pole breaker will be installed for your car charger then we will run the wire from the breaker to your charging port station, either enclosed in a wall, celling or raceway. If there is no room in your breaker box, then we will add a subpanel to accommodate the new EV circuit.
